IME 29 feels a wee bit faster and rolls over a few more things, but whether it’s more fun depends on what terrain you’re riding. What is more fun depends on your riding style and your local terrain/trails. There is no answer outside of that. I ran 2.8 27.5's for 2 years, and I'm back on 2.3 29's now. 29's seem to accelerate and brake faster

Interesting how 29 was fairly stable in the earlier years, but the rise of 27.5 mirrors the decline of 26. It's not until 26 was already dead that 29 started to climb and eat into the 27.5 market share. 58. wise_mysticaltree.
